Dr. Roger Jahnke, O.M.D., has dedicated his professional life to sharing the powerful ancient healing traditions of China. He is the director and chief instructor of the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi, Santa Barbara, California; and a cofounder and recent chairperson of the board of the National Qigong Association. With almost 30 years of clinical practice as a physician of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and eight research tours to China, Dr. Jahnke has emerged as a key spokesperson for Tai Chi (Taiji) and Qigong(Chi Kung) and is a master teacher of these arts. He has studied hundreds of forms of Qigong with master teachers and visited numerous hospitals, institutes, training centers, temples, and sacred sites in China, focusing on the cultivation of Qi (Chi).
Ralph has a B.S. in Holistic Studies with an emphasis on Wellness Management, is a Certified Occupational Therapy Practitioner and a Certified Personal Trainer. He began studying internal martial arts in the early 1970′s. Ralph is Professor Wang I’chih’s senior student and has been a student of Professor Wang since 2002.
Ralph studied with Qi Gong Master Wang Jiwu in 1990 and received a lineage to teach Crane Flying Qi Gong from Master Wang in 1997. In addition to classes for the general public, he has taught both Qi Gong and Tai Chi for Integrative Medicine Centers, hospitals, cancer centers, as well as Nursing Homes, Senior Centers and Mental Health facilities throughout the area.
Portia, also known as Delphina Rose, is author of several books, an herbalist, a woman of the world, keeper of the Way of the Circle, and a pipe carrier and wisdom keeper of the Ahoshaman and Shomash Yucatan forest Maya. These tribes pre-date the patriarchal Classic Maya and hail from Isla Madre, the original Mother Island, from whence all indigenous people originated.
Bradford C. Collins, Ph. D., was the Co-Director of Venus Rising Association for Transformation, Vice President of Venus Rising University for Shamanic Psychospiritual Studies and Director of the Transformation House Soul Recovery Program who passed away in fall of 2014. As a certified Shamanic Minister, Shamanic Breathwork™ Teacher, Trainer and Facilitator, Brad was the Co-Director of the Shamanic Ministers’ Global Network and a shaker and mover. After a life-changing vision he received during a breathwork journey in 1994, Brad created the Shamanic Initiatory Priest Process (SIPP), a highly experiential and transformative process designed to help men step into their authentic power and Visionary Leadership. A pioneer in planetary transformation for more than three decades, part of Brad’ s mission encompassed land-stewardship and care for all living things. Though he is greatly missed, his works continue to inform many of Inchanted Journeys staff and the facilitators of the Wildman retreats.
