Women’s Nature Art Retreat
June 24-27, 2021
Southern Appalachian Mountains, North Carolina
〜 Four days of Nature, Art, and Deep Connection 〜
Could it get any better?
We have heard the call of Mother Earth to bathe in the inspiration of pristine nature and hydrate our artist’s hearts. This 4-day retreat is for women who love to create, paint, draw, and craft. Artists of all levels join in sparking the creations within you and bringing them forth! There will be space to play, dive in, connect, and share.
Join us to:
Be inspired by nature & the elements – Draw from the Southern Appalachian Mountains’ immaculate beauty and the old-growth forest! Allow the fresh waterfalls to clear your body and mind and fire kindle songs within you. Maybe you’ll find your muse in the cave or inside the hollow grandmother poplar?
Play – Remember what it means to create with freedom! Choose from a wide range of art mediums: pastels, watercolor, colored pencils, graphite, pens, paints, clay, charcoal, and using found objects in nature.
Dive deep – Enjoy both shared and solo time in the woods… Discover the freedom to journey within and see what is alive in your heart.
Tap into the Flow– Begin your days with guided movement and breathwork and allow it to carry you into the inner discoveries.
Cherish togetherness– Embrace peer artists! Witness and be witnessed by powerful women walking their path.
Receive reflection & support – Share your creations in a safe container, welcome insights from the community, give, and receive.
Be initiated – Share ceremonial space to journey with a drum and move through a threshold. Now is the time to step into your power as a creatrix of your own life.
Nourish – Enjoy rest and have luxurious free time to create. Nourish your body with wild foods and chartered delux organic meals. Treat your heart with ceremonial tea and cacao.
Clarify & Align – Sync up with the rhythms of nature and allow the ancient wisdom of the Earth to guide your way. Gain clarity on your path and refine your creative expression!
Empower – Remember what it means to listen to the creative force that moves through you. Dare to walk the Beauty Way in its fullest potential. Be the Heart Centered Artist, the Heartist, of your own life!

Sanni Pääkkönen: Devoted to experience the pure potential of a human being, Sanni holds loving and centered space to discover your True Nature as an artists of your own life. Born and raised in Finland, Nordic forests and tales brought her to a deep connection with nature and led her into a well-rounded study on empowered living, embodiment practices and rites of passage work over the last 14 years in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Sanni is a Waldorf School alumni and has witnessed how the teachings of Rudolf Steiner have come alive through her service. She shares her art through yoga trainings (E-RYT500), women’s Rites of Passage work, Somatic Frequency Healing, intuitive dance, ceremonial arts & core- shamanic practices, and intentional journeys to sacred sanctuaries of nature. Her offerings are known to be transformative, deep, playful and empowering. Sanni walks the Earth with grace and calm confidence, dances with the creative force of the feminine and pours her contagious love into every relationship that comes on her way.
Sanni has experienced her journeys to the various power places of the Earth to be a powerful catalyst for a deeper communication with the inner gatekeepers and mystery school of Nature. Through living and studying with a handful of indigenous tradition keepers, she has discovered that natural belonging and creativity are everyone’s birthrights. She holds space for the journeys and retreats that unlock this deeper connection within and brings eco-mythology alive in one’s daily life. By learning to listen to the song of the winds and stay rooted in storm one can reveal the underlying power within and claim one’s space as a sovereign creator being. Life becomes a living prayer and every day a meaningful piece of art.
