Eco-Adventure & Service Trip in the ancient Mayan cloud forest of Cerro el Amay
You are invited! We are looking for a small group of ambassadors to journey with us into the ancient cloud forest of Cerro el Amay in Guatemala, and the home of the indigenous K’iche’ people. We have been fostering a beautiful relationship with these people for the past 7 years and it is an honor to share in our cross-cultural sharing with you. While in Guatemala, we immerse ourselves in:

The mission in 2024 is simple: explore the biodiversity of the Cerro el Amay cloud forest preserve. We will explore caves, climb trees, identify species, and help further our understanding of the community from an ecological perspective.

Registration
Registration is open for this program
Registration is $1,750.00 per person. For families of three or more people attending the journey, the cost is $1,600 per person (adults and children). You will be responsible for your own flights as well as breakfasts, lunches, and dinners in the urban areas (Antigua and San Marcos), though these will be shared meals as a group in restaurants. All food in the village of Laj Chimmel and breakfast in Uspantan are included in the cost. All meals at Antigua and Lago Atitlan are your responsibility.
Note each transaction will include a 3.5% PayPal fee.
It is preferred that you register by contacting Jeremy at jeremy.schewe@gmail.com and send a check by snail mail, but registration is also available online via PayPal. All payments and balances owed are due to be paid in full by February 1st, 2025. Cancellation refund policy is return of payment less a $175 service fee through February 1st, 2025. After February 1st, 2025, we will be unable to refund any cancellations unless someone can be found to replace you last minute.
You are responsible for your own flights to and from the Guatemala International Airport (GUA) from your home city. We will have a van to transport everyone in Guatemala.
